ABOUT ME
Most people would probably describe me as being both right brained (creative) and left brained (logical).
​
As a Creative Director, Writer, Designer, and Producer who has executed literally thousands of successful campaigns, projects, videos and websites, I know what it takes to come up with creative concepts, attention-getting visuals, and breakthrough messages.
As a Marketer, I also understand what it takes to analyze data, evaluate challenges and opportunities, and implement strategies that meet objectives and deliver results.

My experience and portfolio reflects an array of successful, award-winning creative and marketing communications solutions across a broad spectrum of industries, organizations, and business challenges.

In the mid 2000s, I began writing in my spare time—authoring three novels along the way, and even being profiled in the Washington Post. Three years ago, I started venturing into writing graphic novels. I've always been a very visual thinker. Because graphic novels marry both words and imagery, it's a great storytelling medium for someone like me.
Another area of experience and expertise is Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Marketing, Communications and Creativity. I first started researching and following practical AI applications for MarCom and Creative about five years ago. Today, I'm proficient with such tools as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffussion, and Dall-E, as well as experienced with a variety of AI video, music and 3D programs. I've also given presentations on using AI in Marketing, Communications, and Creative.
While there's both excitement and concern when it comes to this technology, AI is not a replacement for experience and talent, but simply the latest "tool" in the creative and marketing toolbox. And like any tool, AI will only be as good or effective as the individual using it.
To help companies and organizations better understand this, I developed a series of presentations on such topics as "Understanding the Basics of AI;" "Integrating AI into the Marketing & Communications Workflow;" and "Unleashing the Power of AI in Design & Creativity."

I've always enjoyed taking on new challenges; devising smart, data-driven strategies; and coming up with innovative and creative solutions.
That appeals to both sides of my brain.
